However taking this early on pretty much means you are hoping for more blood perk, slime blood perk, oil blood perk which sucks without fire immunity, or unlimited spells wand with polymorph and a chainsaw. This to me makes it very useful early on as it would only take away 30-50 which you can make out the difference by consuming blood which'll also give you a sort of pay back for what you've lost. So Max HP increases will still give 25 hp.

The vampirism perk only takes your current max hp, it does not effect future gains as far as I've seen. I heard that you can have slime blood and the oil blood perks applied to yourself and in turn it would make those types of blood viable for vampirism, but I haven't tested it.įamiliar egg spells can create spiders and the jumper zombies for small amounts of blood gain, though this'll need the unlimited spells perk. Unlimited spells helps alot with this.Ī couple blood flasks for what essentially amounts to a health potion that you can pop when needed. A bit of player agency is needed though since you're basically going into deeper levels with less life than what you would've had.Ī polymorph field in order to make easy to kill sheep that give blood when chainsawed. Luminous drill or black hole can easily be a back tracking method in order to get you the blood you need to survive. The blood cloud/sea of blood spells would also be extremely useful with this perk.Īt later levels in the game you can always just back track to the high blood areas of the game such as the 2nd and 3rd stage. Apparently you can get a lot of blood out of a corpse with the chainsaw spell - enough that you can fill flasks up with blood for later use after refilling a fairly substantial health bar if you're not taking damage left right and centre through a given level. I haven't played with vampirism too much, but the guy who got me into the game loves it. Rain wands, for example, become a lot more useful when you can drench a bunch of enemies in a rut and then drop in for a chat. There's a few ways you can make use of it/thunderstones to effectively wreck enemies if you're clever with it.
NOITA MAP 2020 PLUS
The biggest factor in finishing a run in this game, even with an overpowered build, is luck.Įlectricity is pretty much lightning immunity plus a situational perk that can bite you in the ass if you're not careful with it, I generally take it over lightning immunity if I find it and don't have the wand. And that was with lightning/explosion immunity and a lightning bolt wand. Yeah, it took 20 minutes of careful navigation around mobs and curious ghosts to get there, but I wouldn't have finished that run without it. When you're at 2hp and still have about 50 enemies between you and the portal, somewhere on the map that you've yet to find a path to, with no black holes or drills. I used it to get through the level before the final boss on my only clear run. If you end up relying on it to get through a level you are NOT going to beat the boss at the end.
